A comparison between a real kat von d shade and light palette purchased from sephora for $46, vs. a shade and light counterfeit palette purchased on ebay for $15.. The biggest difference shows up in the actual shades. overall, the fake is much warmer, on the bring of being orange for some of the shades � especially what is supposed to be the shade levitation. the textures of the shades themselves are nice on the fake, but the real ones are definitely more pigmented.. The authentic palette has brighter light shades and a deeper black shade. the fake palette has more yellowed shades and a less intense black shade. #3: the serial number is the wrong font and size. sure the fake palette has a serial number but it is obviously nothing like the one printed on the authentic item..
The words �shade + light� are supposed to be raised and in the real palette, the words are just printed on the fake palette. this came with a pamphlet though, like the real ones. the patterns on the mirror is half-assed the small details are even folded outwards.. This eyeshadow did come in a box that looks like the real box but i can't find it. i've had this palette for a while now, that's why it looks a bit damaged..
